Claustrophobia Free MRI Trial
At Medserena we have developed niche experience and expertise in creating a calm welcoming environment and relaxed comfortable MRI experience for anxious patients.
All our scans are carried out in open upright scanners so you can be close to your radiographer during the procedure or talk to a friend or relative you’ve brought along with you for reassurance. Depending on the type of scan you’re having done you may even be able to distract yourself by watching TV on a large flatscreen.
Whatever your fears – claustrophobia, concerns you won’t fit in the scanner, or even that it will be too uncomfortable for you - our staff will do their very best to put you at ease and be at your side throughout the procedure.
Centre Visit
With this in mind, Medserena offer the opportunity for you to come and visit our centres for a free MRI trial on designated days (subject to availability), so you can sit or stand in the scanner and our radiographer can talk you through what will happen when you have the scan.
Some patients find this is all the reassurance they need to decide to go ahead and we are happy to provide a short taster free MRI trial for this reason.
